Commercial Property

Stuart joined Robert Simmons in 2014 in the Property department. He is qualified as an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.

Having previous experience in property law at a local firm of solicitors, Stuart’s expertise covers all commercial and residential transactions including refinancing, Help to Buy, Shared Ownership and Right to Buy together with Private Client matters.

Stuart works with the COLP, COFA, DPO and MLRO in managing the firm’s risk and compliance policies and procedures.

In his free time, Stuart enjoys visiting the theatre and has a keen interest in aviation.

David passionately cares about all of his clients, something they feedback to him time and time again. He genuinely wants to solve client problems, rather than having an eye on the bottom line.

Clients are predominantly small businesses with a turnover up to £1m. The practice also has a very loyal local customer base for conveyancing.

David qualified in 1991, and has worked for a number of large firms before setting up his own practice. He is also the Company Secretary and solicitor for Drivers Direct Recruitment Agency. He donates time to the Citizens Advice Bureau on a regular basis, guiding individuals on a range of issues.

In his spare time David enjoys going to the gym, and has participated in the Newbury triathlon several times. He is an avid fan of Formula One, and dreams of following the whole season live one day. He also confesses to playing Dungeons and Dragons!
