About Us

David passionately cares about all of his clients, something they feedback to him time and time again. He genuinely wants to solve client problems, rather than having an eye on the bottom line.

Clients are predominantly small businesses with a turnover up to £1m. The practice also has a very loyal local customer base for conveyancing.

David qualified in 1991, and has worked for a number of large firms before setting up his own practice. He is also the Company Secretary and solicitor for Drivers Direct Recruitment Agency. He donates time to the Citizens Advice Bureau on a regular basis, guiding individuals on a range of issues.

In his spare time David enjoys going to the gym, and has participated in the Newbury triathlon several times. He is an avid fan of Formula One, and dreams of following the whole season live one day. He also confesses to playing Dungeons and Dragons!

Andrew Berk studied law at Essex University followed by a Master’s degree at Kiel University in Germany before qualifying as a Solicitor in 2002.

Andrew specialises in Employment Law and acts for both employees and employers in both Employment Tribunal and High Court/County Court claims. His advocacy experience includes conducting both Preliminary hearings and final hearings in the Employment Tribunals. He is familiar with most types of Employment Law claims including: Unfair and Constructive Dismissal; Redundancy; All forms of Discrimination; TUPE; Equal Pay; Breach of Contract; Unlawful Deductions from Wages; Minimum Wage; and Flexible Working. Andrew is also a member of the Employment Lawyers Association

Away from work, Andrew enjoys theatre, cinema, travelling and sports. He speaks French and German.​

Stuart joined Robert Simmons in 2014 in the Property department. He is qualified as an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives.

Having previous experience in property law at a local firm of solicitors, Stuart’s expertise covers all commercial and residential transactions including refinancing, Help to Buy, Shared Ownership and Right to Buy together with Private Client matters.

Stuart works with the COLP, COFA, DPO and MLRO in managing the firm’s risk and compliance policies and procedures.

In his free time, Stuart enjoys visiting the theatre and has a keen interest in aviation.

Rebecca is a Chartered Legal Executive Lawyer specialising in Matrimonial and Family law. Rebecca has worked exclusively in this area since April 2010 and is therefore a senior and expert in her chosen field. This experience and expertise allows her clients to feel confident that she has the knowledge and understanding to advise them on all options and indeed the best route to take on their particular issue.

Rebecca is well liked by her clients and is seen as a pillar of support in difficult times. Her warm, friendly approach to her clients, coupled with her robust progression of cases and clear advice is often why her clients feel her service is second to none.

Rebecca is experienced in dealing with all issues that arise upon separation of married and unmarried couples. She has a vast portfolio of cases at all levels of complexity including divorce, children matters, pre and post-nuptial agreements, separation agreements, financial matters on divorce, cohabitation agreements and domestic violence protection orders. Rebecca will aim to provide you with your options to try and agree a way forward without the need to involve the Courts. She is however an experienced Advocate and can progress proceedings with confidence and skill if required.

Rebecca has gained experience as a senior family lawyer not only locally but also at a firm on the South Coast. She has been involved in opening and managing an office, along with building up a department at her previous two firms. This experience has helped Rebecca gain a detailed understanding of exactly what her clients need in terms of service from their lawyer. Rebecca prides herself on being clear in her approach to fees and ensuring that clients are kept informed regularly of all matters pertaining to their case.​

Zara qualified as a solicitor in 2002 and since this time has worked in Wills Trusts and Probate departments and had gained vast and varied experience. Zara qualified as a member of the Society of trust and estate practitioners (STEP) in 2015 which keeps her up-to-date and abreast of new developments in Wills, Trusts and Probate.

Zara joined Robert Simmons solicitors in April 2019 and enjoys assisting clients with drafting wills, administration of Estates and applications for probate, preparation and registration of lasting power-of-attorney documents, registration of enduring power of attorney documents, and court of protection deputy applications.

Zara enjoys walking in the Lake District; she is a member of Bracknell Forest runners and enjoys the occasional run around Virginia water.

Tina joined Robert Simmons in 2018 as Office Administrator at the Camberley Office assisting with general office duties including greeting clients at reception and on the telephone.

She comes from a banking and financial background having worked previously for large Corporate companies.

In her spare time, Tina enjoys socialising, playing darts competitively and walking her dogs.
